Social Justice in Action

Community service - In the spirit of Mercy we encourage our young women to assist those in need. Consequently, we encourage students to undertake community service. These include supporting and fundraising for: Anzac Lodge, Caritas, Project Compassion, fundraising for victims of natural disasters, Red Cross, Mercy projects such as East Timor water wells, Children's First Foundation, Cancer Research, Bahay Tulya (homeless children in the Philippines), Asylum Seekers Refuge Centre, 40 Hour Famine, Tinnies for Vinnies and food parcels.

Cultural exchange - In line with our Vision Statement that recognises we live in a global community, we seek opportunities to explore the cultures of other parts of the world. This can occur through student exchange, study tours and the celebration of the multicultural nature of our college community. We seek opportunities to organise study trips to Italy/Indonesia - Year 10, 11 and 12 students.
